2007 Veterans Day Report

19 veterans and their people attended Veterans Day at Twin Ponds this year.  The veterans ranged in age from 7.5 years to 14.5 years.  The food was good and the weather was great.  Winners of our games are listed below, but it was clear that swimming in the pond was the preferred activity for all of our very active seniors!  Thank you to the Armstrongs for hosting this great event.  Hope to see more veterans next year.  Until then – give that gray face an extra kiss or cookie whenever you get a chance!

Winner of the popcorn toss game was Shocker (Aquest Sands of Sanibel CD OA OAJ RA) owned by Belinda and Mike Gosnell.

Winner of the fetch game was Genie (Genie, My Bottle of Wishes CD TD SH WCX) owned by Mike Bullinger.

Winner of the head to head marshmallow holding contest was Mac (Lycinan’s Highland Fling CDX RA) owned by Jo-Ann and Bob Crowley.
