K-9 Olympics

What:

Entry Fee -  $1 per dog Games - The K9 Olympics are for everyone!  Fun and games for adults and puppies, all skill levels.  Bring the whole family and plan to have lots of fun!! No experience necessary ! Puppies can retrieve rubber ducky's in shallow water and plush toys on land.  For adult and veteran dogs, we have a few new games:  Dog Darts - sit your dog on the bulls eye and you can win this game.  Pick Up Your Socks - Can your dog find the socks that match?  and some annual favorites: Bobbing for Tennis Balls, Mini Marshmallow Catch, Recalls through Plates of Treats and Save the Baby!   Pot Luck Picnic - PVGRC will provide the meat, rolls, drinks and paper goods.  Please bring a salad, side dish or dessert to share. Volunteers - Volunteers are needed for set-up (11:00 AM), running games, grilling, and clean up.  Contact Janet Kaplan at  beavermoon@msn.com if you can help.

Directions to Twin Ponds:   From North, East & West:  Follow MD Rt. 75 South to Weller Road, Turn left on Weller RD, go approx 1.5 miles.  Turn left on Lynn Burke RD, go approx 0.25 mile to Ridgeway Dr.   11789 is about 8/10 mile on left.   From South:  I-270N toward  Frederick.  Exit at MD Rt. 109. Left off ramp toward Hyattstown.  At light, left on MD Rt. 355. Follow 355 about 6/10 mile. Turn right on Rt. 75 go approx 4.5 miles.  Turn right on Rt. 80 go approx 0.75 mile to light.  Turn  left on Lynn Burke RD go approx 1 mile to Ridgeway Dr. Turn left on Ridgeway Dr.   11789 is about 8/10 mile
